The Office of Academic Affiliations (OAA) Academic Year (AY) 2023-2024 Designated Education Officer (DEO) Verification Report portal opens for facility review on August 1, 2023, and closes on September 8, 2023. The AY 2023-2024 DEO Verification Report portal will open for VISN review on September 6, 2023, and close on September 15, 2023.
The purpose of the AY 2023-2024 DEO Verification Report is for facilities to verify the VA-paid and disbursement-paid health professions trainee position allocations for AY 2023-2024 (excluding Advanced Fellowships) and request additional position allocations.
Instructions are included in the OAA Support Center on the DEO Verification Report page (Instructions). Additionally, OAA will offer live training sessions via Teams. Training invitations are forthcoming.
We ask that you share this information with your VA-paid and disbursement-paid health professions education training programs and ask them to review the report carefully for accuracy.
